Tue 03 Nov 2026
I am writing to share some important information regarding our upcoming academy production of Frozen. Rehearsals are well underway, and our students are working incredibly hard. They are very excited about the production and cannot wait to share all their hard work with you!
As we get closer to performance week, I would like to make you aware of some important dates and rehearsal arrangements.
As we get closer to performance week, I would like to make you aware of some important dates and rehearsal arrangements.
February Half-Term Rehearsal
I will be holding a full cast rehearsal during February half-term on:
- Monday 15 February 2027: 9.00am – 3.30pm
It is really important that students are available for this rehearsal as we begin to bring all aspects of the production together.
Performance Week – Week Commencing 22 February 2027
This is going to be a very busy and exciting week! Please make a note of the following dates and times:
- Monday 22 February: Full-day rehearsal, finishing at 5.00pm.
- Tuesday 23 February: Matinee performance for primary schools.
- Wednesday 24 February: Evening performance – 7.00pm start.
- Thursday 25 February: Evening performance – 6.30pm start.
- Friday 26 February: Evening performance – 7.00pm start.
Please note that Thursday's performance will begin slightly earlier than the other evening shows which is aimed for younger children.
Rehearsals After Christmas
When students return after Christmas, rehearsals will increase to three evenings per week:
- Monday – until 5.00pm
- Wednesday – until 5.00pm
- Thursday – until 5.00pm
Please be aware that not every rehearsal will require the full cast. As we get closer to the production, a detailed rehearsal schedule will be created and shared so that everyone knows exactly when they are required.
Final Week of Rehearsals – Week Commencing 8 February
The week before we break up for half-term will be particularly important. We will be rehearsing every evening after school, with a full dress rehearsal taking place on Friday.
Costumes
Costumes ideas will be sent home very soon. I would really appreciate your support in helping students organise and prepare their costumes, ensuring everything is ready for the production.
We are incredibly proud of the commitment, enthusiasm and hard work the students are putting into Frozen. It is shaping up to be a fantastic production, and we cannot wait for you to see what they have been working so hard to achieve!
Thank you, as always, for your continued support and for helping us make this production such a special experience for our students.
