We have followed all official guidance to ensure we are ready to re-open and are so excited to be welcoming all students back with us in September. Enjoy the rest of your summer break!
As Nottinghamshire is now on high alert as of 14.10.2020 all students and staff are required to wear face coverings when moving around the Academy in corridors and communal areas, unless there is an age, health or disability reason when exemptions apply. A face mask must be worn on public transport or home/school transport.

Parent View gives you the chance to tell us what you think about your child’s school.
Parent View asks for your opinion on 12 aspects of your child’s school, from the quality of teaching, to dealing with bullying and poor behaviour. We will use the information you provide when making decisions about which schools to inspect, and when.
By sharing your views, you’ll be helping your child’s school to improve. You will also be able to see what other parents have said about your child's school.
Nottinghamshire Youth Commission would like to find out:-
1. What young people know about exploitation and abuse
2. What the police need to do to help support victims of both abuse and exploitation
3. How organisations can increase their presence within the community to allow young people to be aware of the support services they offer
4. What information would young people want to receive
5. What should be done to encourage more males to report these crimes ?
Please help and complete the surveys, if you can.

If you are a former student of Outwood Academy Valley, we want to hear from you!
Your experiences since leaving could help to inspire our current students in making decisions about their future. We’d love you to join our alumni network and stay connected with the Academy.
We’ve partnered with the national education charity Future First, who specialise in helping academies like ours to stay connected with their former students.
You can choose how and when you help – perhaps you can act as a career and education role model, provide work experience or become a mentor.
It doesn’t matter when you left us, whether you’re in further education or employment, whether you still live nearby or have moved further away, there are still ways you can help.
In order to sign up, just follow this link and fill in the online form – we promise it will only take a couple of minutes:
