Pathway Planning Day
As part of our commitment to sharing information about your child and working in partnership, we wish to share details regarding the upcoming Pathway Planning Days for this academic year.
These dedicated sessions are designed to enhance holistic student development, learning, and overall progress. Our primary intention is to ensure we work closely alongside you to secure industry-leading outcomes in careers and future destinations for every student.
Schedule and Format
Pathway Planning Days will take place on the following dates:
- Wednesday, 18 November 2026 (12:00 pm – 7:00 pm)
- Wednesday, 3 March 2027 (12:00 pm – 7:00 pm)
During these times, you and your child will attend a 1:1 mentor-led meeting with their Personal Development and Guidance (PD&G) mentor. These pastoral discussions are designed to explore your child’s total profile, including encompassing their attendance, wellbeing, personal development, and long-term aspirations.
Student Arrangements on Pathway Planning Days
To accommodate these focussed meetings, the school day will run differently for students:
- Years 7–10: Students will work remotely from home for the full day, completing set tasks via their year group Google Classroom.
- Year 11: Students are required to attend school in the morning for a Booster Session and a Mock Examination. Once the exam is complete, Year 11 students will be dismissed to work from home for the remainder of the day.
How to Book Your Appointment
Bookings for the November session will open on Monday, 4 October 2026. You can schedule your 1:1 appointment via your child’s PD&G Google Classroom.
