We are delighted to inform you that on Friday, 13 February 2026, we are inviting all students to take part in a Casual Clothing Day. This fundraising event has been organised by our Student Voice Team. All money raised will be shared between a charity which will be selected by the students in their Personal Development and Growth group, the Out There rewards and a student celebration event, taking place at the end of the academic year.
This event will be similar to our previous casual clothing day, as students are welcome to wear their own casual clothing as well but this time we are following the Valley-tine’s theme of something either red, pink or with lovehearts on. However, please ensure that you have read the expectations listed below and that your child follows them:
- If your child has PE on Friday, they must bring their usual PE kit
- No Crocs
- No jewellery, false eyelashes or false nails
- No flip-flops
- No crop tops
- No tight cycling shorts/Nike Pros
- No ripped clothing
- No fancy dress
- No pyjamas/nightwear
We are asking students to make a minimum donation of £1, or whatever you are able to give. Donations can be made on arrival at the school gate; for ease on this occasion, cash will be collected in donation buckets at the entrance. If your child does not wish to participate, they must attend school in full uniform as normal.
We would really appreciate your support in making Casual Valley-tine’s Clothing Day a success. It’s a wonderful cause, and together we can make a positive difference.
