End of year 9 maths exams will take place on Monday 13th June and Thursday 16th June in the main hall
(Monday non calculator exam & Thursday calculator exam)
Wednesday 22nd June – Friday 24th June – Y8 Graduation 1.15pm start
1st July - INSET DAY - The Academy is closed to students
6th and 7th July - Y6 Transition Days
5th July – Y6 Information evening for parents & students 4.30pm - 7.00pm
6th July - Y11 Prom at Aston Hall
7th July - Y11 Prom Breakfast
25th August - Exam Results Day - Results will be available for collection between 9:00am and 12:00 noon.
If you are unable to collect them please contact the exams office and they will be posted out to you.

    We are proud to announce that, after meeting with Deputy Lieutenant Jean Pardoe OBE DL, our students will be receiving the Lord-Lieutenant's Award for Voluntary Service. Congratulations on such a fantastic and well earned achievement!


  • Strike Action - Tuesday 5th July 2016

    As you may be aware, the National Union of Teachers (NUT) has decided to take strike action on Tuesday 5th July 2016. We are pleased to confirm that Outwood Academy Valley, Outwood Academy Portland and the Post 16 Centre will be open as normal.
